What Went Wrong

WJRayment | 14 November, 2006 12:12

What went wrong in the November 2006 election? It is very simple...it was a Failure to Educate. Had the RNC and Conservative organizations spent more time and money over the years and the campaign season helping people to understand the way geo-politics and economics work the outcome may have been different.

This idea goes along the same lines as the idea, if you feed a man a fish he eats for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for life. If conservatives convince a person to vote conservative once, we may win an election, but if we help him to understand the way things really work in the world and that Conservatism is the practical and logical answer then we have a voter for life.

Want to win elections for years? Let's educate. We need to insinuate ourselves into every aspect of the culture, from the educational system, to novels to movies to newspapers. This is one of my favorite hobby horses, but I think the latest election makes the point even more clear. Educate!
