Instead of their prose with empty promises and their hollow enlightened visions, they saw the reality of the destructive thoughts and the capacity of terrorists with views opposing the United States. They had themselves become victims of their own views and esoteric prattling. They had to change their tune from being people opposed to our country and its government and preaching tolerance of people opposed to our government; to protesting the actions of those they once supported, or at least in theory supported. They had for so long insisted that we should respect the views of those opposed to our nation and set upon its destruction. It was brainwash. You couldn’t dislike anyone or anything because it might offend another or be considered intolerant. They waved their banners “Diversity” and “Tolerance” and now they were waiving American flags.
But any minute I expect to be swallowed up in a dream world again where the right to have sex is preeminent to the right to life of a living being tucked inside the womb of its mother for protection. I expect to hear that we were just kidding. We didn’t want anyone to get hurt. Call it off now! They will ask how can a people who profess to be Christian, Muslim or Jew take the life of another person simply to protect their own lives and land. The people must not really be Christians, Muslims or Jews, for all of them have a rule against the taking of life. Their beliefs have crept into our churches, synagogues and temples, strangling out beliefs long held sacred and have anesthetized our very souls.
But for now we are awake. We realize our future. No one should have any doubt, people, men and women, black and white, Hispanic and Asian and others of many nationalities, who are United States citizens and are our neighbors, will come home in body bags, without limbs, blind and burned. This is war. War is a 2000 degree fire burning down 110 story buildings to the ground and the thousands of people trapped inside suffocating or burning to death and disappearing without a trace because of the intensity of the fire. War is the rubble of those buildings crushing to death servants of our people who put their lives in danger so that they could simply help others. Purity of service makes a hero. We will have many heroes in this endeavor and some will come back to America alive and others will die in fulfilling their service to US. But we and I mean all of US, must continue to be strong, prepared to make sacrifices and carry on with our lives. It is by no means a pleasant journey that we embark upon, our leaders and the men and women of the military units that will be placed in danger need our prayers and support in whatever manner that we can provide it to them.
