On the left were the Marxist centralized governments who were for a so-called social justice utopia that destroyed family rights and the rule of law. On the conservative side were the democracies that believed in the rule of law by constitution.

Supposedly, on the right side of the political spectrum stood the National Socialist Party (the Nazis) which was for centralized government despite any disclaimers they made. The main claim the National Socialists had to being conservative was their anti-communist stance. They were, also, against constitutional democracy despite the big lies they told while running for office.

Tom Campbell, a former liberal Republican Congressman sheds much light on whether Jeffords is a centrist or centralized in his defense of the switch. Campbell wrote in the San Jose Mercury News that “liberal Republican...had no philosophical objection to the federal government growing bigger...they were strongly concerned about the global communist threat. It was the later that kept them in the Republican Party...Jeffords is from that background.”

With the Soviet Communist threat over, why would Jeffords want to be labeled a Republican? According to Campbell’s article: ”He [Jeffords] wants to spend more money for, and to impose more federal control on, k-12 education. He wants a smaller tax cut, and no “star wars” missile defense. He’s pro-choice.”

He is not part of either the pro-family or libertarian parts of the party. It seems that there is no discernable reason why Jeffords would want to keep the Republican label except to be elected into power.

The National Socialists (in pre-war Germany), also, kept the label of being anti-communist and pro-constitutional democracy until they got into power. After they got power they destroyed the constitutional democracy and made a deal with the USSR for Poland. The Nazis called this switching of stated beliefs the "big lie".

Would Jeffords have won the election if he had honestly switched parties before the election? As a professional politician did he decide to keep the Republican label to be elected into power?

If power is his motive for switching to the new Democrat Senate majority - he has joined the right group. The media, Gore and the Florida Supreme Court Democrat judges' attempt at a coup showed that they have no respect for the rule of law. These judges shamelessly ignored clearly written state law with the collaboration of the media to win an election.

The Democrats showed themselves capable of raw power grabs in Florida. After which they had the audacity to claim that the U. S. Supreme Court voted Bush into the presidency, when that was their intent in the Florida judges' misreading clear written law.

Campbell’s article has the same audacity in saying that the democratically elected House, Senate and White House majorities were a “Republican Monopoly.” He forgets that the media monopoly used its communications monopoly to erroneously call Florida for Gore as the most Republican part of the state was still voting.

They gave Gore the only chance he had to keep the race close. Also, the miscalling of Florida probably cost Bush millions of votes in the west that would have won him the national popular vote.

The erroneous call could possibly be defended. But, the EARLY erroneous call in such a close race is indefensible. The media monopoly has come dangerously close to becoming a propaganda organ of the Democrat party -with only the new Fox network not marching in goosestep.

Finally, the traditional goal of almost all pre-World War II European governments was the protection of human life (born and unborn) with the exception of two powers. The only pro-abortion powers were the Marxist and Nazi eugenic governments.

Jeffords and the Democrats are, also, fanatically pro-abortion. Many forget that Jesse Jackson used to be vocally anti-abortion until the moment he was given power in the Democrat party. To be anointed into the party one must knell at the altar of the abortion powerhouse-Planned Parenthood formerly known as the Birth Control League.

After World War II, Planned Parenthood had to change its name because of its eugenic and Nazi associations. Eugenicists believed that so called superior races had to protect themselves from inferior races by abortion, sterilization and other means.

In fact, eugenicist Margaret Sanger - the founder of Planned Parenthood - made Lothrop Stoddard a member of the board of directors of her Population Association of America. His eugenics book, The Rising Tide of Color against White World Supremacy was written while serving on Sanger’s board. According to the "Nazi Connection" written by Stefan Kuhl (pp-61-62):

“He [Lothrop Stoddard] even met personally with Adolf Hitler. William L. Shirer, an American colleague who had been in Germany since 1934, complained that the Reich minister of propaganda gave special preference to Stoddard because his writing on racial subjects were “featured in Nazi textbooks.””

This support of centralized governments by Planned Parenthood and the Democratic is not just old news. As the original Planned Parenthood supported forced sterilization in Nazi Germany and the Democrats supported “Uncle Stalin’s” Russia until Truman, so now, they support forced abortions in Marxist China.

Of course, the Democrat party and Jeffords are not Nazis or Marxists. But, many of their policies and tactics seem to parallel much of the agenda of those old centralized governments. If former Congressman Campbell’s article is correct then Jefforts is centrist. He is centrist in the sense of being for centralized government.
