U.S. Attacked!

WASHINGTON/ Conservative Monitor - On September 11, a day that will live in infamy, the United States has been surprised by a sneak attack by yet unidentified forces. American airplanes have been hijacked by trained terrorists and flown into prominent buildings in New York and Washington D.C.

Buildings attacked include the Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington D.C.

Thousands of civilians have already died in the attack. This is an act of war against the United States, declared in the most spectacular manner. The U.S. response should be swift and decisive. It should be noted that this unknown enemy has attacked civilian targets. Even while the United States in its own military efforts has strived so meticulously to avoid "collateral" damage, our enemies have chosen the terror of attacking civilian targets.

The story of the people on board the civilian liners used in the attack, the story of the thousands of civilians in the World Trade Center who were killed by its collapse will never be adequately told. Yet their deaths will be seared into the minds and hearts of their countrymen.

This new enemy does not realize the force that he has unleashed. This sneak attack on the United States can only result in the righteous fury of the American people. Our enemy has started a war. It is up to us to finish it.
