The Iron Road, by James Mawdsley. A fascinating book about one man's struggle to help the people of Burma. For shouting the word, "Freedom", in the streets Mr. Mawdsley was thrown in prison and tortured. His account reads like an adventure story, but is truly about the plight of an entire people.
